Real yards, finished and photographed

Every photo on this page is a job Primos Landscaping actually did in the East Valley — paver patios, block walls, new lawns, rock, and the irrigation running underneath all of it.

Landscaping, start to finish

One crew from start to finish — so when something needs fixing, nobody points at anybody else.

Irrigation Leak Repair

A wet spot in the gravel and a high water bill usually mean a cracked lateral or a valve that won't seat. We open the box, pressure-test the zone, cut out the bad section and glue in new fittings — then backfill so the repair doesn't show.

New Irrigation Lines

New planting deserves its own zones instead of a tee spliced off whatever was already there. We trench, set valve boxes at grade with the cover flush, and size the emitters to the plant so a citrus tree and a shrub aren't fighting for the same drip.

Sod Installation

Grass fails from what's under it, not what's on top. We grade out the low spots, amend and level the soil, then lay the rolls tight with staggered seams against the curb so the lawn reads as one piece once it knits in.

Rock & Gravel Design

Decorative rock only looks intentional when the depth is even and the edges are held. We set curbing or border, spread the granite to a consistent depth so the dirt never grins through, and place accent boulders where they look like they landed there.

Tree Trimming

We thin for light and wind instead of shearing everything into a ball. Cuts go just outside the branch collar so the wound seals, and we haul the brush out the same day the ladders come down.

Palm Trimming & Skinning

Palms get climbed with rope, saddle and spurs-free technique, dead fronds and seed pods cut back to a clean collar. Skinning the old boots off the trunk gives you that straight, groomed look — and takes away the nesting spots for rats and roof debris.

Why people call us back

Most complaints about contractors are not about skill. They are about a price that grew, a crew that disappeared, and a phone nobody answered.

We chase the leak, not the symptom

Anyone can cap a broken head. We find out why the pressure dropped and whether the valve, the line or the timer is at fault, and we tell you which one before we quote it.

The edge is the whole job

Where rock meets grass, or grass meets concrete, is the line your eye lands on from the patio door. We hold that line with clean border work so nothing migrates after the first monsoon.

Price in writing, then we dig

You get the estimate free and the number on paper before the first shovel goes in. If we open the ground and find something nobody could have seen, we stop and show you before we spend your money.

We leave with the mess

Fronds, brush, spoil dirt and old rock go on the trailer, not in a pile by your gate. Driveways get blown off and we walk the yard with you before we pull out.

Where we work

📍 Mesa Apache Junction Fountain Hills Tempe Chandler Gilbert San Tan Valley 📞 Farther out? Call and ask

We work across the East Valley out of Mesa: Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert and San Tan Valley. Most weeks the truck and trailer are somewhere along that line, so scheduling a look at your yard is usually easy. If you're just outside those cities, call and ask — we'll tell you straight whether we can get there.

Common questions

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Nefi and the crew work in Spanish and English every day, and you can call or send a WhatsApp in either one. The estimate is written in whichever language you'd rather read.

How much does the estimate cost?

Nothing. We come look at the yard, talk through what you want, and give you a written price. Nothing starts until you say yes to that number.

My water bill jumped but I don't see a leak. Can you find it?

Usually, yes. Underground leaks show up as a soft or dark patch, sunken gravel, or one zone that never gets to full pressure. We run the zones one at a time and open the valve box to find where the water is actually going.

When is the right time to lay sod in the Valley?

Sod can go in most of the year here, but the first two weeks of watering matter more than the calendar. We set the timer with you before we leave and tell you exactly how long to run each zone while the roots take hold.

Do you haul away the palm fronds and old rock?

Yes, hauling is part of the job unless we agree otherwise in the estimate. Fronds, brush and spoil go straight onto the trailer the same day.

Can you do just one thing, like trimming a couple of palms?

Yes. Plenty of our calls are a single repair or a few trees. We'll also tell you honestly if something you're asking for won't hold up, and what we'd do instead.
